Q and The Books was started as my own personal pet project. It's intended for me to post my reviews on a blog and see how I've grown in terms of reviews and books read! The name Q and the Books comes from my friends, Q is my nickname.
I like to review books with a small intro about the general gist of it, and then dive into why I liked it/did not like it and then go on from there. I like to use the 5 star rating, with decimal stars. I do sometimes change ratings, and will make a column out of that.
Star rating:
1 Star ★ = I really didn't like this, would not read again, it just
didn't sit well with me/I cringed while I read it
2 Star ★★ = I disliked it, but there was some highlights
3 Star ★★★ = Okay, I liked it, but nothing that really stood out, for a solid, middle of the road book
4 Star ★★★★ = I liked it! I would read it again possibly, plus there were a lot of things I liked
5 Star ★★★★★ = I loved it! It may or may not be perfect, but I would really recommend it/reread it!
